New Precinct Officers
Thank you to everyone who came to caucus night, supported our precinct officers and took part in the grassroots process . It was a wonderful turn- out and many were there for the very first time! That's great! We hope to have an even bigger showing at the next caucus!
We are very excited to be able to represent our precinct and do the research we need to do in order to make smart, informed decisions. We would love to have you involved any way you can! We will be keeping this blog for the very purpose of EDUCATING our precinct on issues, candidates, events, constitution groups, and anything else we want to discuss!
The officers are listed on the RIGHT hand side of the page and have their contact information listed. Feel free to get in touch with them through phone calls, email or35precinct @gmail.com or comments through the blog. We will be visiting door to door the ENTIRE precinct in groups of two, to meet with you and let you know who we are and how to get in touch with us. We are looking forward to that in the coming weeks!
Listed below are local events taking place in our area to meet the candidates and hear some debates. You are welcome to attend and we would love your feedback.
* Tues April 6th (6:30-9:30pm) Noah Webster Academy- meet and mingle with Utah county candidates
*Wed April 7th (7:00pm) Noah Webster Academy- County commission debate (Gary Anderson, Joel Wright, James Vein)

Come to Caucus Night!
The most important elections in Utah occur at the precinct caucus. A precinct is an area about the size of a few neighborhoods, or 1,250 homes. Utah has about 1,725 precincts. Citizens throughout the state are invited to attend their precinct caucus (a caucus is a meeting of the local members of a political party) on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. There, citizens become delegates to the party conventions (state and county,) where the candidates who will represent each political party in the General Election are selected.
WE need YOU to come and let your voice be heard! There are several individuals in our neighborhood who are needing your support to represent YOU and YOUR voice during the upcoming elections. PLEASE commit to be there and fulfill your duty at CITIZENS of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. What a great opportunity!
